September Recipe of the Month: Crockpot Turkey Spinach Meatballs
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. lean ground turkey
- ¼ cup panko Japanese-style breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup baby spinach chopped
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce of choice
- 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese To Cook in Crockpot
Cooking Directions:
- Add sauce to the crockpot.
- Layer meatballs on top of sauce.
- Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top of meatballs
- Cook on “low” setting for 6 hours in 6-quart crockpot or 8-10 hours in crockpot.
