September Recipe of the Month: Crockpot Turkey Spinach Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey
  • ¼ cup panko Japanese-style breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup baby spinach chopped
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce of choice
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese To Cook in Crockpot

Cooking Directions:

  1. Add sauce to the crockpot.
  2. Layer meatballs on top of sauce.
  3. Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top of meatballs
  4. Cook on “low” setting for 6 hours in 6-quart crockpot or 8-10 hours in crockpot.
